Hubby & I will be in Disney when he turns 30. He bought me the trip to Disney for my 30th b/day earlier this year. I LOVE Disney ... he likes it. I need to do something amazing on his b/day, but I can't think of anything spectacular. I was going to order a cake, but he hates cake (I know, he's weird). Right now I have an ADR for Flying Fish on his b/day.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do for my hubby for his 30th b/day to make it memorable? Please help :worship:

How about watersports over at Sammy Duvals at the Contemporary? They have waterskiing, parasailing, wakeboarding etc. You could bring him to Chef Mickey's then walk down to Duvals. They are really professional, safe and fun-play great music while you are on the boats.

Or, how about the Segway Tour at Epcot? It is totally unique! Enjoy and all the best.

We spent our anniversary with a no parks day: two massages, lazy day at the pool, nice dinner at the Yachtsman. Consider a spa appt if he's willing. Grand Floridian, Saratoga Springs and the Dolphin Hotel all have full spa services. Some of the other DVC resorts have limited services as well. Our anniverary trip we were in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where the spa is small but right next to the pool when you're done. :)

I ended up spending my 29th's doing a Twilight Swim at Discovery Cove. I don't know if the Twilight option will be there when your husband's 30th is, but Discovery Cove is unique and quite fun.

I'd also add another + to the Watersports at the contemporary idea. Something that is a LOT of fun is to do the first JetSki rental of the day. They will give you a guided tour of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake (You get to ride up to the front of the Magic Kingdom and every hotel on the water) before most of the water transportation is running or the gnat rentals start, and then you get to play in their little jetski play area afterwards. all other jetski rentals during the day are stuck in their free play zone.

How about the Around the World on a Segway? Its a great time, I've done three time now.

We are going in Jan. for my 60th birthday, and I can't wait.

If you want to do something different, get a Premium Package for one night. That gives you two days of fun. You can go on tours, jet ski, parasail, go bass fishing, go to La Nouba, go boating, get a portrait package, carriage ride, meals, etc., etc.

You pay one price and load up two days with your choice of activities. Maybe you could show him all of the choices and then book the two days of what he would find most fun.

I did this in September and had the best time ever!

Pretty much did the same thing in 2008. Friend and I booked 1 night at the Poly before checking into our primary accommodations for the week. We got our weeks worth of tickets with that reservation as well as the Premium Package. Then over those 2 days, we ate at the Coral Reef and Cali Grill, Did the guided Jet-ski tour around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, Parasailed, Went fishing, and Saw La Nouba.....All as part of the package. We figured we saved EASILY close to $1000 based on the price difference between no package and paying for all those activities for the 2 of us at the regular cost.
