My husband told me last night that he doesn't really care to go back to DW (we went last summer) and that he cant take off any time this summer anyway, so if I want to take our 2 daughters, we should go. Well, I'm crosseyed from looking at this computer today. We would be flying out of Houston. I've checked and checked on the $123 RT fare I saw posted on here, but cannot find it available at all in July or Aug. I checked on the FTP for an All Star and the dates I am trying to use are apparently sold out. If I can't do it on a budget, I'm not going to be able to do it. I am very open to suggestions, but will say that I prefer to be on Disney property (including downtown) since it would just be me and 2 kids. Somebody, anybody-please help!!!!!!

I just got reservations today for the FTM package! I went through AAA and am staying at the All Star Sports. We arrive Aug. 2 and depart Aug. 9. Maybe if you try a travel agent? I have never done so before but they could get the reservation and I get a 10% discount at the World of Disney store. It was the same price as going through Disney directly and they took care of my dinner shows and all. I usually don't book packages but this one is a good deal for us.

Try Mousesavers.com. I'm taking my two boys (3 & 10) next week and was able to find great onsite hotel discounts on Mary Waring's website. I don't know how much time you have to spare, but we are taking Amtrak from Houston which takes roughly a day and a half to get to Orlando. I paid $100 roundtrip for each of us, and the boys absolutely love the train. Have fun planning your trip!!!

I know someone who is going to Orlando from Houston next week on the $123 fare. He booked his ticket about three or four weks ago and says that he thinks the fare ended in May. You might want to check Southwest for specials or, as someone else mentioned, talk with a travel agent. Good luck :D
