Went today with my dd and it was fantastic !!! I highly recommend it to anyone with a HSM fan, she was totally mesmerized and sang her heart out. I will say that I have been to many many ice shows over the years and this is by far the best I have ever seen. Very talented cast and so well choreographed. She said today was the best day of her life :) So that is pretty darn good I'd say ;)

we went a few weeks ago for my DD's 9th birthday. we thought it was great. i was really impressed by all the basketball/dance/skating combinations. i don't think most people could dance while keeping in sync with a large group and shoot/bounce a basketball-- and to do it on ice was pretty amazing.

I am taking my DDs (8 and 4 years old) to this next month. I am happy to hear these great reviews.

Are the songs from HSM1 and HSM2?

We went same day as you and loved it! We were at the 11:00 show. I took DS12, DS9 and DD5 and they all had a great time.
The souvenir prices were beyond ridiculous though. (I knew they would be.) They each bought something with their own $ and I bought a program. After that, I said they'd be much better off getting something from the Disney Store.:goodvibes

I have my ticket for May 2nd. My SIL called and they had an extra ticket and wanted to take my dd. So DH suggested I see if I could get a ticket sitting close to them. I was able to get the seat next to them...WOOHOO. So DD and I will be joining my SIL and 2 nieces. DD is excited to see this.

i went recently & LOVED it

theres a bride on the wedding boards that her & her fiance skate in it!!!!!

it was SO cute

Yes. The same guy who helped choreograph the movies also helped to co-choreograph the Ice Tour with a skating choreographer so that the show would look as close to the movies as possible. Chucky even learned how to skate to help him with the choreography!!!

My kids got stuffed Wildcats animals, tshirts and lightup icee cups.
All rather pricey but we were expecting it.
Have a great time!

Were taking dd tom :) I didnt know what kind of souvioners were they offering?

There are ton of souvenirs to choose from. Programs, souvenir cups with snow cones inside, cotton candy with a souvenir hat, different kinds of blinking light items, shirts, pjs and jewelry. At our venue there were booths every 10-20 feet and they all had same items. They were on the pricey side, but you can expect it, I'm sure.

I took my DD5 in Dec. She had a great time and I tought the show was pretty well done. I dod find it fairly short though.I bought her a bag of popcorn in a cheap plastic hat and a slushie in a mug and each cost $10. All the food and souveniers were way overpriced.

We went this past Saturday. The whole family loved it. What was crazy were the prices for souveniers. I saw kids shirts for $35, a small keychain was $10, programs (that did not include many pics of cast) was $20. The kicker was the cotton candy with a silver hat was $12.

Disney is making a fortune off of this!

Hi,

We went on Saturday and my daughter loved it! I figured the prices were going to be high because we just went to Hannah Montana. I spent 35 on a shirt 15 on a light up headband and bought 2 big necklaces but can't remember how much they were. She got a snowcone that came in a cute cup that lit up.

We saw HSM on Ice back in the fall when it came to our town and DS8 loved it, though he will never admit it to his friends. I think what he loved the most was that they sang every song from both movies. First act was the first one and second act was HSM2.

One of the funniest moments, at least for me was the response from the Moms in the crowd, when "Troy" ripped off his shirt. I'm pretty sure there were some whistles and cat calling from the Moms that surprised even their kids:rotfl: Disney is always sure to provide something for everyone:)

I agree about prices being insane. Our tickets were free, so I did get my son the snowcone in the souvenir cup, but my friend from work who went with us got cotton candy to share with him and couldn't believe it when the vendor said it was $12 dollars!!!:scared1:

I've seen a lot of the Disney on Ice shows over the years through my job and they are getting better and better every year. Our favorites so far are Monsters Inc, Incredibles (where DS got his own Dash Head Mask) and Finding Nemo. I know Nemo got mixed reviews from a lot of people because it was more along the lines of the Broadway Lion King, but we both loved it. I'm pretty sure based on the pictures that I've seen that the new Nemo show at AK is just like the ice show...we'll have to wait until May to find out.
