HSM 2...What did the kids think!

I thought it was OK....not as good as #1. Especially Troy's "angry song"...what was THAT??? my favorite song was "You Are The Music In Me". For #3, I hope we get MORE CHAD AND MORE ZEKE, PLEASE!!!

Also, Sharpay is a really good dresser. Even 83 year old Grandpa liked the clothes...and the car!

PS. thanks for the wake up call link. We get one tomorrow!

DD10 had two friends over Friday night. Total agreement amongst the three, they LOVED it! They counted down at the beginning, and when Zac and Gabriella finally kissed at the end, there was a huge cheer.

Poor DD8 had to go to a gymnastics team sleepover, so she didn't see it until Saturday night. She loved it too!

BTW, DD10 got one of the wakeup calls from Corbin Bleu this monring. She was shocked. I thought her jaw was going to hit the floor. She adores him, so it was a great surprise. Sharpay will be calling DD8 tomorrow.

My girls are 7 and 11, they loved it. Sat on the floor in front of our TV and sang and spun around and occasionally got up and danced. They really enjoyed the movie, our favorite song is "I Don't Dance", we really love the version on the Disney website, they've got it with Major League baseball players in it and they feature one of our faves, Nick Swisher, a few different time. They also really like the "Music In Me" song.

We also had a premiere party - I had four 9&10 year olds and four 7 year olds. They loved it! Some just didn't like Zac's hair, they kept saying that it made him look weird It was funny to see all of the expressions when Zac & Gabriella kissed, all the younger girls were saying "YUCK" while the older girls were "awwwwww". They all screamed when they say Miley dancing at the pool!

I too heard that they're in talks to do a remake of Footloose w/ Zac. I was thinking the whole time in the solo how PERFECT he would be. His mannerisms, moves, everything.

By the way, I know this is a HSM2 thread, but who has seen Zac in Hairspray? That is a FANTASTIC movie and he is so great in it.

DD5 loved HSM2. I asked her which one she liked better, and she said both. We enjoyed it, but I do have to say the sound was AWFUL when they were singing. We have the soundtrack and the songs sound fine, but in the movie it's really bad.

I thought the story in the first one was better, but I really enjoyed the coreography in this one - very entertaining!!!

Saw the HSM2 crowd being interviewed on ET last night about the hoopla last Friday with the premere. Rumor is that the HSM3 of which production is already underway, will be a theater release. Funny thing too they asked Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron what was the weirdest thing they saw their likeness on so far. Ashley: She said she was "disturbed" to see it on underwear ahaha!! Zac: Coffee Mugs, "Never seen little kids drinking coffee."

Oh and yea my daughter had a premere party at our house too with about 7 other girls attending. Me an my son spent our time enjoying the Zac's mini cheese burgers lol.

I looked it up on imdb.com and HSM3 has been announced. It looks like out of the 6 main characters that Ryan and Taylor have either not signed for it yet or they haven't even been asked to be in it.

As of right now it's scheduled to be out next summer.

Can't wait to see it!
