HSM 2 premier 8/14 at DTD

As luck will have it, we will be at the DLR on August 14th. Does anyone know what a premier is like, for example is there ANY chance we will even be able to get close to DTD to be able to see ANYTHING??
We were planning to leave Anaheim that day, early, to drive to Vegas for a few days, but upon hearing about the premier, my daughter wants to stay one more day at DLR.
Any thoughts?

I would love to know also....my almost 4 y/o and 12 y/o are huge HS musical fans and would LOVE seeing them on the red carpet.

Thanks for the article. So can the public "view" the red carpet walk or are there tickets for that? How will this effect the flow at the parks that day?
