I know there is another thread but thought it would be fun for everyone to post their definite party plans. So, carry on!!!!!!!!!!!! Share those ideas!!

I know a lot of little girls are really into HSM but I am actually having a pizza party for some little boys that love the movie. Any ideas for them that aren't too girly? Everything I have seen at the stores seems geared towards the girls. I figured I would pick up some HSM plates and napkins but wanted to do a little something extra...

(mamanurse's DD)me and my 2 best friends are having a huge sleep over at my house to watch it, full of pizza ice cream cookies & HSM dec. its gonna be so much fun just watching the movie no matter what the party consists of really

My DD5 is having a friend over and we are going to eat pizza, popcorn and movie candy. We are so excited to watch it in our pjs and curled up with blankets and sleeping bags!!!  :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We are doing the usual pizza, popcorn and candy. We went to Libby Lu this weekend and bought fake hair and new makeup / nailpolish. We will be doing makeovers before the movie starts.

Unfortunately we leave for vacation at 3am on Saturday morning. Boy, is that going to be a long day with tired and cranky kids...and cranky mommy too!:scared:

DD12 is having four friends over for the movie and a sleepover. Food-wise we're doing it movie theater themed (nachos, popcorn, big boxes of candy, maybe hotdogs, etc). I working on getting the little bags for the popcorn and tray like they have for nachos at the theaters.

The girls are bringing swimsuits and swimming after the movie in our backyard.

I bought this weeks TV Guide with the free HSM2 cd-rom so they are going to check that out. We have HSM dvd game for them to play and a friend is bring the soundtrack which we will play in the Karoeke Machine for them to do a sing along.

Does anyone know if they are doing anything special at WDW for the release of HSM2?

My DD is having her BD party with the premiere and we are doing pizza, popcorn and movie theater candy. I found individual popcorn treat bags that are really cute at Factory Card Outlet. They are doing a sleepover, but for the movie, I thought it would be cute if they sit on beach towels and I have a lot of cute floor pillows they could lounge on too. We are playing some games as well...a jelly bean in a jar guessing contest with light blue and yellow jelly beans, hot potato with a Sharpay Barbie doll to HSM2 music, a type of pin the tail on the donkey but with a Troy poster and lips I printed out on the computer..."Kiss Troy", Memory game with homemade cards with the stickers of the HSM personalities and a HSM trivia game. We will have the CD and of course they will probably want to dance like they always do before and after the movie. Mostly everything is color coordinated with yellow and light blue/turquoise to go with the colors. Party favors will be some HSM2 items from Club Libby Lu.
I think it will be a lot of fun and all my ideas I thankfully got from Disboards!!!
Thanks everyone!

My family and another family are getting together for a HSM2 party. The moms (me and my friend) are just as excited about it as the kids. Then a group of 4 girls are also coming over (Jr. High age) to join in on the fun. We are the neighborhood gathering house.....

Just hamburgers and hotdogs for supper. Popcorn for the movie. Not doing anything else special. Just want to watch the movie!

We're having a party too. To eat, we'll have mini hamburgers and pigs in blankets before the movie begins and then popcorn, raisinettes and twizzlers during the movie. I got some cute popcorn bags from i party. I put 6:00 as drop off time on the invitations so I figure the girls can eat and do makeovers before it starts-we have make up and nail polish from Libby Lu.

A few of the other moms are staying, so I'll also make a little Sangria and some munchies for us. I think I'm almost as excited for the movie as my 8 year old! :rotfl2:

Well, I started so I should post:lmao: .

I have not got all plans down yet. We are having a HSm birthday party in November so I dont want to use all my ideas this week. I went to Wal Mart and got some of the party stuff(it was already pulled and in the back for Hallmark to pick up--thanks to the associate who went out of her way for me!). I got the cups for them to drink from, some tattoos, and we will watch the movie on the floor on quilts. We are redoing dds room and have not moved the bed in yet....I will set up a little table with party food. Pigs in a blanket, etc. We may do nails. I would love to hear ideas for our party in November. Thanks everyone!

We are going to a wedding out of town Friday night! The kids were not invited but were invited to a pool party at the brides parents on Saturday. So, we are taking a babysitter (27 yr old 8th grade teacher). her and my DD6 (and DS6months if he counts) will be having a party in the hotel room! We are doing cupcakes and popcorn, maybe order pizza or something fun for dinner!
I think I might just have to go up to the room and check on them during the reception!

We're having our girls birthday party that night. We're doing makeovers, and my husband is setting up his photo lights, etc for a "photo shoot". Then we are playing "movie star dress up relay race" where you have a box of of dressup clothes and they do a relay race of getting them on and off. We also have karaoke with the HSM songs. We are renting a popcorn machine and serving pizza. They are extremely excitied!:cheer2:

I am doing much of the same as previously posted. I am making cupcakes, frosting them white and using the thin red licorice to make the cupcakes look like baseballs. (I think that is the sport this time.) Popcorn, pizza, movie candy. I am thinking of going to get the mystery date game. Any input on it? Is it worth it? 1 more day!

Dollar Tree here in WA has HSM tattoos! My DD4 is excited about those for our "premiere party" tonight!

We are doing a party - the girls have been making lists and making up games all week. Dollar store decorations - combo of HSM stuff and generic maroon and white!

food-
Popcorn and movie candy, I found cute plastic "popcorn" cups in the target dollar spot :) My dd is making pb&j's as served in troy and gabriellas picnic, blue ice tea "from London" ie lemonade with blue food color, sliders - can't remember why and nacho's and cheese as served in the cafe scene. I will probably put out some carrot sticks and fruit just to balance things out a bit.

Games -
Dd's made up some games, trivia questions they thought up and put on cards, mad libs from HSM songs, pin the basketball on Troy's hand with a poster from a mag and hand drawn basketballs and lastly "Mrs Jarvis" hid the cellphones. We got some plastic cellphones from dollar tree with lip gloss inside, I will hide them so the kids can find them.

We also found some neon inflatable microphones from Dollar tree so the kids can "sing along".

We are starting a little early with the bonus features and some of the first movie.
