HS with a Toddler

We are headed to Disney World a couple weeks before Christmas. We have a full day currently planned at HS, but I am thinking we might be better off using half of the day at another park. We have done the thrill rides not long ago (or have some in the group that don't do them at all). We will have a 2.5 year old and the main thing is for him to have a good time. What all can he do in HS? I know there is AS2, TSM, and MMRR as rides (he will not be big enough for most of the rides). Other than walking around GE is there much else to do for him? Just trying to see if it is realistic to do what he can do in a half day.

We were there with our now 4 year old when he had just turned 2. He loved the shows (Disney Jr. Dance Party, Frozen Sing Along, Beauty and the Beast and Lightening McQueen). He also had a blast on AS2. This time around, he really enjoyed MMRR and TSM (as well as MFSR). He also enjoyed exploring around Toy Story Land as well as going around Galaxy's Edge.

We went to WDW this past September and it is the first time in the last 15 years that I haven't park hopped. I may be a convert to doing 1 park per day.

Ha - I feel like we had NO downtime We did luck out in the timing of the Beauty and the Beast show and Frozen Sing Along. I feel like if we had just missed the start of one of those, it would have been frustrating.

This is pretty much what we are thinking. I think he will be fine with the couple of rides and I think we may can keep his interest for a while with the shows, but it is going to be at most half a day and maybe even less. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
