Not too crowded so far at HS today. Weather is really nice so this is about what I would expect here for this time of year. RnR FP was a necessity. The family is doing Star Tours and then another FP for ToT. We are going to bail for the hotel pool afterwards and skip the night time shows and fireworks.
AK yesterday was insanely crowded. Navi is a snoozer and although beautiful I would not waste a FP on it again. Two of us got FP for FOP and they loved it. Pandora is cool. Not enough space for all the crowds it attracts after dark.
MK on party day was still crazy crowded from rope drop on. We are vets so can work our way through most park situations, and have been over many holidays. MK was a good time, even leaving by 6 p.m.
EPCOT on the 20th was a zoo. We knew going in that was likely. It is so spread out you can still manage to walk without tripping or being run into.
Overall we have encountered fewer frayed tempers and rudeness than in past years and smaller crowds. Most folks seem pretty cheery. There does seem to be an increase in people trying to get their kids to push through the pain and nap it off in a stroller, instead of waving the white flag and leaving the park. Folks, sometimes the kids are just DONE and you cannot fix it.
We did have one unpleasant encounter/meal at Skipper Canteen a couple of nights ago. Two separate families let their little kids take the whole restaurant hostage- at least the dining room in which we were seated. I dont mean happy child sounds either. This was whining, screaming, throwing things, banging repeatedly on the tables with silverware, cups, climbing in the booths and yelling at people at other tables. Way to stay classy people. Most of the room was disgusted and some people clearly rushed through their meal while the two families in questioned lingered.
