HS & MK In 1 Day! Any Tips Before Hopping?

So, does anyone have a plan of attack for my Hollywood Studios morning before hopping? I will be going to WDW in early December. Unfortunately, it will be a shorter stay than I would like. Long story short, I need to do Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom in 1 day. I live in California close to Disneyland and LOVE Animal Kingdom and EPCOT, so those are the priority. I have been before on long trips, so on this day I just want to catch a few favorites at both parks and try Tron. I specifically picked a non-party night at the Magic Kingdom as I REALLY want to see Happily Ever After. I always prefer to do 1 park a day and have never hopped before. I also usually go SUPER slow, but am ready to go crazy this morning to get stuff done. So, I am curious what I can get done before the hop, as I would like to do that ASAP. I would like to see Runaway Railway, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and if time Millennium Falcon & Walt Disney Presents. I will be staying on property so I can get there early and will pay for Genie+ and get the individual Lightning Lanes. So, what do ya all think?

IMO….I don’t think you’ll be able to accomplish everything on your list at HS. What time are you planning on leaving there?
I’d make a list of order of importance for the rides and go from there. I personally would rope drop RRailwsy since everyone else runs towards Slinky Dog and RotR. My second choice would be to turn right and go straight to ToT and RR.

Keep a very close eye on Tron - as soon as that ILL pops up don’t hesitate - buy it quick because it goes quick.

I would spend most of day at HS, hop to Mk Just to see fireworks.
You will need to pick a night where there is NOT a Christmas party .

I was planning on getting out of there around 1 or 2 and thought giving an hour per ride getting there at 8 for early opening would be cool. At least that was the time I read it was last year. I was thinking that paying for Rise and doing one of the others with Genie+ would cut the time down a little more. But I will do what you said as far as importance, and that would be Tower and RR. I could almost skip HS, but I love Tower so much I have to go. Thanks for answering.

Your biggest challenge in Dec will be crowds as you have an aggressive list of attractions to experience.

I would suggest at 7AM you immediately purchase an ILL$ fir Tron for later in the day. As you say, you may also need one for Ruse.

Buy rise, get G+ and target slinky or M&M, get to the park an hour to 45 mins before early entry and go to either slinky or M&M (whichever you didn’t get). Once you have the G+ above, keep reloading it and see if you can score an earlier time. If you do this often you will get a more favorable time.

RR & smugglers you can do the single rider, that leaves tower, and I would likely do that after your first early entry ride.

I have no problem getting there really early. Only thing I was worried about is the bus not running that early or wondering if Uber can get in there 45 minutes before early entry. I guess I could take Uber to Boardwalk and walk??? Thanks!
