HS-Mama Melrose or 50's Prime Time?

We are trying to decide where to eat for our table service at HS? We have the choice of MM for dinner for 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch. Which one would you recommend?

We enjoy both of those. I love 50's Prime Time fried chicken and the kids LOVE their milkshakes (which you can get as your beverage if you are on the meal plan). If I could only do one, I'd probably opt for that but if you really like Italian, I would certainly not argue with you for choosing Mama's! Lot of help I am, huh??

I'm going to be the same way....both are just fine. Love 50's fried chicken and the Smore's dessert and MM was just as good. I had the cheese flat bread which was really tasty, but then decided to take a bite out of my DH's chicken parm which I totally fell in love with....the next time we go there, that is what I am going to get . Good luck deciding.

For Italian, I think there are probably at least a few better choices. I'd go for 50s Prime Time. The milkshakes are really good and, if memory serves, the food is really good, too.

The atmosphere isn't as fun as I'd expected, but the food is certainly a good choice.

My vote is for 50's PrimeTime. Food is good to great and very fun, colorful atmosphere. We love the fried chicken!

We liked both but 50s Prime Time is the one that's on our must-do list for our next trip. Good comfort food & lots of fun!

My vote's for 50's PTC!! Its a must-do every trip for us. Can't get enough of the pot roast from there!!

We were just there 2 weeks ago and I vote for 50s PTC!! it was WONDERFUL for lunch!! We had a chocolate milkshake (heavenly!!) and fried chicken and smore's....

We ate at both in January. Mama Melrose was good enough, but I don't think it is any better than a chain Italian restaurant, and the atmosphere could be duplicated anywhere. The food is good at Prime Time and the experience is pure Disney. It is worth going to Prime Time just for the PB&J milkshake!
