HS Hours extended / Galactic Spectacular / Osborne Lights

We will be at HS on 12/21 and the hours have been extended to 11 PM when the Galactic Spectacular will occur. But it is showing Osborne Lights from 5:45 until only 9 PM. Will the lights stay on until 11 PM. What else will be taking place between 9 PM and 11 PM - I assume everything would remain open through the Fantasmic shows all the way up to 11 PM.

The Dessert Party area for Osborne Lights is a fireworks fall-out area. That area will need to be cleared well before the fireworks are set to go off.

GMR and TSMM will also close well before the fireworks.

Have they announced times for the fireworks? Or is it just being assumed that they'll take place at closing? I'm ridiculously excited that they pushed up the start date - the first night of the show is the last night of our trip, so we'll get to see it after all!

So any idea if Fantasmic is at 8:30 - what will be open between 8:30 and 11 when the park closes and the fireworks go off?

@lovndisney12 on 12/21 GRM closes at 9:45pm, TSMM closes at 10:15 pm.
Everything else is open regular park hours, so until 11 pm
Osborne Lights are scheduled from 5:45 pm until 10 pm

Thanks! I finally found where the times for the attractions were listed. I was only finding the show times!

I didn't know about this show! 11pm though, no way I'm keeping DS up that late the night before an emh morning. Wonder how bad xmas eve will be. It's an emh night so my bet is BAD.

Galactic Spectacular is the name of the fireworks show.

Nightly fireworks beginning December 18th.

Nightly dessert party beginning January 5, 2016.

I looked at the disney calendar at my dates...I noticed it is not listed on 12/24. 11 would be pushing it for me, too, but I am excited to know it will be there!

• 12/24 - Park close changed from 9:00pm to 11:00pm and Fireworks added at 11:00pm

Thanks! For some reason I saw it on every other day that week, but not that day. We are in HS that night for lights and dinner at the HBD. We will likely be gone long before 11... Don't want Santa to beat us home! If we are night owls another day, perhaps some of my family will try it. We typically don't watch fireworks, but a Starwars score? Swoon!

Us too, HBD with Fantasmic then lights. We need to get green mickeys for DISboarders again! I think we will be gone before the star wars fireworks too but I really want to see how they sync it up.

Anyone know how long they are going to have the Galactic Spectacular. I am wondering if this will be just a short time to promote The Force Awakens.
