HS hours - closing at 4?

I just noticed that one day next week HS closes at 4 pm. Anyone know why?

Sorry to hijack but curious to know what it would take to have a private party that would close the park? Cost or other requirements?? Anyone have any idea?

It's most likely the 10,15 and 20 year anniversary celebration that they do for the CM's that have worked there for those many years. They usually hold it at HS

Just checked MDE for the actual day and yes it is the CM party One of the previous Mo'Rockin CM's posted that they would be playing the party and it was a Thursday

Thanks for the info - we'll be there next week but have our HS Day as Tuesday so no worries there! How cool would it be to attend a private party at one of the Parks?

A few years ago, DH and I booked our Dec. trip through a travel agency. One of the perks was a private event at DHS on one of our nights. We had to check into Animation Courtyard at closing time, get a wristband, and then we waited with about 150 (maybe? Could have been less) other people for about 30 minutes while the rest of the park cleared out. The group was then escorted to TSMM, where we rode the ride without a wait. Then we were taken as a group to Streets of America, where tables were set up with hot drinks and boxes of goodies for each of us. We had the Osborne Lights just to our group. At one point, DH and I were under the light canopy with 2 other people. Some folks decided to lay down on the ground and look up, and there was no fear of getting trampled. It was a great evening!
