Hi - we are at HS today and of course our LLs are more spread out than I would have liked. My DDs and I can walk around and fill the time, but my DH has really bad knees and is trying to minimize walking. Can you recommend a good place (preferably with AC) where he can sit for an hour or two? I will try for BD lounge but wondered if there are other spots like that we should try? This is for in between the shows that we will do to fill up the day (shows are good = sitting).

This is day 4 of a 9 day trip so we are trying to take it easy. He would never consider a scooter, it's really not bad enough for that, but walking for 8 hours 9 days in a row would be painful.

Thanks!

Try inside Star Wars Launch Bay. It isn't in the new Star Wars area. It is in Animation Courtyard by the Disney Junior stuff. We didn't go in there 2 days ago. But we have before. Lots of movie items. But I do recall some benches and other seating.

It might be the length of time that may become a challenge. Would a place like ABC Commissary work for him? I've heard Baseline Tap House is good but, I'm not sure taking up a table for 2 hours would be appreciated as it's on the smaller size I believe.

I agree with the others - I would try one of the larger QS locations. ABC Commissary is fairly centrally located.

Maybe try the Mickey Vacation fun short theater? After the show is over there’s a place to take pics with backgrounds from the short and there are some benches there. Hardly anyone stuck around after the show. May be boring to wait there for 2 hours though. But it is inside and supposedly air conditioned (though I found this trip that the a/c everywhere in the parks seemed weaker than normal)

PizzeRizzo over by the Muppets show normally has a lot of available seating indoors where he wouldn't feel too bad taking up some space.
