DH and I booked a last minute 3 night trip Dec 2-5 specifically to experience Christmas at WDW. I am especially looking forward to Epcot and have almost an entire day planned there for COP and the Storytellers in WS. The second day I was going to do MK and the third a mix between touring the MK resorts and either a few additional hours at Epcot or MK. I just listened to a podcast that was all about HS and how much better Jingle Bells Jingle Bam is this year as well as the decorations and music. I'm wondering if we should do an evening there. This may sound crazy but is the music all like Perry Como holiday tunes? DH would love that....

I was just there HS show was ok I liked the show on ToT the jiggle bam was a little let down for me but still good.

Thanks for your input. I really want to focus on the holiday atmosphere mostly, we dont really care about rides this time.

Oh my goodness we were there last week and DHS was such a pleasant surprise!!! I was so worried about crowds, having a hard time seeing things, etc. I shouldn't have worried! Sunset Season's Greetings is genius...you can see all 3 of the "shows" in about 10 minutes, so many people wander out, letting more wander in. This allows everyone a great view! The projections on TOT are so high up, even my very vertically challenged family had no trouble standing at the way back of Sunset and seeing everything. The new tree location is beautiful, and probably the best Photopass pic we took, even better than at MVMCP. We also watched Jingle Bell Jingle Bam from the way back, almost 2/3 of the way to the exit of the park. We should have stood on the left side of the street to have a better view of the fireworks, but we still had a decent view of all the projections and some of the fireworks. It was such a relaxed, enjoyable evening...and yes, with time-period appropriate Christmas Carols playing so I was in heaven!!!

Thanks so much. I'm trying so hard to not overplan but I don't want to miss the truly festive stuff!

I wouldn't miss HS at the holidays. We're only going to be able to go to one park this holiday season and my family deliberated long and hard over which one to choose. In the end we decided that we like the "Christmas feeling" of HS better than that of any other park, so that's where we're going.

Does anyone know if you its possible to see JBJB at 8pm and then head over for Illuminations at 9:30?

I think they were referring to the new Sunset Seasons Greetings show that projects onto ToT, I don't think the poster was saying he was on ToT :-)

We were there last weekend. The Frozen Sing Along is now holiday themed, so it was a little different. Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine was great - all the characters were in seasonal clothes and there is a photopass person for pictures with Santa Goofy. The real Santa also meets over at the Once Upon a Time store, and it is a beautiful set up. Those were the big holiday takeaways for us.

Lol, I don't think that, I was.just referring to the fact that the purpose of the trip was more about soaking up the atmosphere than riding rides :)
