HS area hotels

I should be able to figure this out....but I cannot make sense of the map inside my head!

What are the hotels within walking distance to HS? We would like to leave the park for a lunch and I think being able to walk there and back would be ideal.

From that list of hotels, do you have any dining recommendations?

Beach/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, and Swan+Dolphin are within walking distance. Boardwalk and Swan will be the closest to HS. I've never eaten at any of these resort though, so can't help with food recs, sorry!

All the above listed resorts from PP, but do expect that it will take ~15-20 minute walk each way or the boat ride could be that plus. So with lunch expect to spend at least 2-3 hours if doing TS. You didn't mention if you are looking for QS or TS meal.

If doing QS the BW has a good bakery where we have done sandwiches and salads. Tratora al forno at BW is so so and not worth the walk.

Have you looked at the dining options at HS? Brown Derby is a top notch restaurant if you are looking at TS and you wouldn't have to leave.

I have heard S&D does have some good restaurants so maybe research what is there. IL mulino is one that i have typically heard good things about.

The restaurants at Swan and Dolphin tend to be Signature type. Shulas, Bluezoo, Il Mulino all very very good. They have some lesser places, but have not tried them.
Beach Club - Beaches and Cream is fun. haven't tried the other restaurants there.
Boardwalk - Flying Fish is very good. Big River Grille is good, typical bar and grill. Boardwalk Bakery has good sandwichs.
Yacht - have not tried any there.

When we lunch at Boardwalk we usually pick Beaches and Cream. Good food, great treats and DDP.
