HS and Epcot Entrance Construction ?

It's a longer walk right now but it's not insane like some make it seem. Some people make it seems like their walking a mile to get to the entrance. It's not that bad.

Yup.

Not bad at all.
Some of the reports that have come out make it sound like you will be on the Battan Death Marth
Or at least dodging over bodies that had fallen out from the hike.

It's why I turned on the tracker on my watch the first time we walked out. Took me 18 min to reach BWI. There's no way that's DRASTICALLY altered like some claimed.

Back in August on the Disability Board folks were asking about where the temporary Handicap Parking was located at DHS since the construction.

I started adding photos from some Google research and old maps from Robo and new construction updates from another website called Deconstruct.

I started showing what the aerial maps looked like before construction and then start and then during construction.

All those photos are in the link above if you would like to look at them.

Thanks for the pic! Puts things in perspective! Doesn't look too bad and at least it's only temporary.

What I timed while there was walking from the where you see the beginning of the pink line at the park gate all the way along the yellow/orange line and back to the pink "normal path" line.
That walk took exactly 12 min and was .5 miles. 6 more minutes had us at BWI pool area and 20 min total had us to the BWI boat dock. 2 more minutes has you to the Epcot gate. Total distance to the BWI boat dock was .9 miles. Which puts the Epcot gate at basically 1 mile, that's turnstile to turnstile. The entire reroute at HS added 5 min, maybe .25 mile., over the pink "Normal Path" line shown on the photo
