We discovered at the tail end of our last trip how easy it was to park at Epcot since we go at a slow time of year. I know Magic Kingdom doesn't have direct parking, so that's one we'll use buses for. What do you think about AK and HS? Do you have to walk forever to the car or wait a long time for a tram to come by?

We are rope drop folks, so when we drive/park, we are usually so close a tram isn't needed. But when we have been further back, the trams were always frequent &/or we would start walking and catch a tram along the way. The harder part is waiting for a tram at the end of the day. Just like buses, the lines get long, and the trams seem to take forever to show up :rotfl2:

To me it seems like the 3 parks you mentioned are all very similar in terms of walking distance. Someone with a measuring tape may disagree.

I agree with 4under4. Drive to EPCOT, DAK and DHS.
For MK, it's a toss-up between driving and taking the bus. We actually split our group up once to test whether driving or busing to MK would be quicker. Both groups arrived at the MK gates within 2 minutes of each other.

Yeah, I'm debating driving to the ttc just because my girls live to ride the monorail!
We have a the consistent luck of JUST missing the bus every dang time, so we end up waiting forever. I think it will be better for us to just drive over to the other parks!

I was going to ask why not drive "to" MK if your kids love the monorail but then I saw that you were thinking about it. :) just because most recommend taking the bus there doesn't mean you have to. Especially if there's monorail love from the kids.

Just a reminder that currently the Resort Monorail opens at 8:30 a.m., and the MK Express Monorail at 9:30 a.m. No official word yet on when normal opening times will be back in effect.
