I am taking my (soon to be) 16 year old dd and her (soon to be) 16 year old BFF to HRH and (of course) Universal as a sweet 16 present to both of them. Any tips or suggestions? I have been a Disney pahantic for years, but DD is "over" Disney and wants to do the whole HP thing because she and her BFF have always seen all the movies together. This gonna be a "girls weekend" but I'm expecting to get ditched a lot lol! We've done day trips to Universal to do the roller coasters etc. But I have never felt like 5 days at the parks was necessary.
I guess what I am asking is for trip advice/pointers, good eating tips, oh,and is the "meal plan" worth it? THANKS

dont know if 5 days is to long or not. we usually stay 3 to 4 but that is only because i have to go. my two 15 year old boys could stay alot longer. enjoy yourself, send them off on their own and have a couple of margarita's by the pool:cool1:

I usually stay 3 or 4 weeks, usually at RPR, and its never to long.
So much more to enjoy than just the parks, and more time to relax at the resort

We normally stay 1 week at a time and it still is not enough time. We enjoy relaxing poolside at RPR and HRH.

i go solo for 8 days and stay on site and run out of time to do what i want to do............

I would be tempted to try to stay club level - we didn't - but it looks like the eating options would work for my kids who like to graze, and I would book that next time. We only needed two days in the parks, but poolside is great if the weather is good.
