HRH -Which Rooms are best?

Hi All,
We'll be staying at the HRH the 14th of Jan to the 19th 2010, we
are wondering which rooms are best with location to elevators and phy/room
maybe pool and lobby. We always go to Disney so this is our first stay at
Universal ( hope we picked the right hotel ) PLEASE any info for our stay
would be highly appreiated. What to do - any little inside info - the boards
have ALWAYS helped with our Disney stays and Disney Cruises.

i suggest you start with the sticky of hrh room assignments.

no matter how old some of the posts are, the room numbers are the same still.

you will find many posters in that thread list the room number, view, and other important information about the hotel.

if you have a priority, what would it be?
location to the elevators or the other items you listed?

the lobby is on floor 3.
you can use the stairs or elevator from this floor to the bottom floor.

the fitness exercise room, Kitchen restaurant, B & E, are on floor 1.
to reach the pool, you walk out from floor 1.

We've stayed at the HRH twice and have visited the other hotels during our visit. I think they are all about the same with a different flavor and twist. We liked the HRH particullarly with our kids ages. We never made any requests but pool view which we got on both occasions and were pleased with them both. The second time we stayed the room was down the end of the corridor away from the elevators but there really is not a very long walk anywhere.
