What are the best and cheapest ways to get from HRH to the airport?

We used a town car service and it was $110 round trip for the 3 of us. Worth every penny in my opinion! FL Tours was the name of the company we used. I'd do it again if needed!

Hello fellow Texan! For my trip two weeks ago, I used Ed Korgan. He picked me up in a suburban and charged me $90.00 round trip and that included a grocery stop at Publix. He's also a member here on the DIS. Here's his site:

Besides a towncar, your other options would be a taxi or Mears transportation.

We were there Labor day weekend, walked out of MCO and grabbed a cab to HRH (was a town car from City Cab). The cost was 51.55, with about an 20% tip. Ask for a cab at the front desk at HRH, it was a minivan this time (Mears). Total was 45.90 with 20% tip. So round trip for the 4 of us was approximately $100 with 20% tip! And SOOO simple! No need for plans or specific times.. it was really nice!

In August used Mears roundtrip for the first time. I was unaware they go to multiple hotels to fill vans. On the return trip driver went to wrong hotel and we had to go to another hotel to pick up passengers. Next time will take a cab or town car there isn't that great a difference in price.

That is why I did the taxi this time. Last year we did the Mears round trip and had to leave at a specific time and had to pick up/drop off different hotels. Definitely not time efficient! Just grabbing a cab was actually cheaper and much much quicker!
