Does anyone know what my chances of getting connecting rooms @ the HRH is. I made our reservations and as of right now they stated they have no connecting rooms - do you think if i keep checking back i will be able to get connecting rooms - thanks

do you need adjoining or connecting rooms?

if you have to book 2 rooms due to having 4 kids, you will get the rooms you requested.

many have to put one adult in each room and a couple of kids when you have 4 kids in your group.

We have requested connecting room for several trips now and have always gotten them. We usually go in Aug. and we aren't even travelling with small children - ours are 26 and 23. We make the request when AAA books the room and have always checked-in and gotten our request. I have never called in between to check on our request. Its on my paperwork so we just leave it at that and see what happens. Like I said, we have never been denied our request.

OT -- thanks OP. I booked 2 rooms for August and after reading this thread it hadn't even occurred to me to ask for connecting rooms. I just called and the rep told me standard rooms don't connect. I told her it was OK, I figured I would ask, but she put me on hold and came back and said she took care of it and now we have connecting rooms!

in 2007 we got connecting rooms without asking but this year i want to make sure that we have them - when i made the reservations she said she would try to make the rooms as close as possible but thats not going to work - we are only booking 2 rooms because we want the extra bathroom...i guess i will check back with them and find out --- also do you know if you use a travel agent if you can still use the Superbowl Code?

thanks

We booked 2 rooms for July (2 adults, 4 kids) and requested adjoining club level rooms. I booked directly thru Loews, at first the rep told me that wasn't possible, only garden and pool view could be gauranteed adjoining. When I said I would prefer club but we'll book garden view then, she asked her supervisor and they did indeed say they would book us adjoining rooms, club level. The actual reservation confirmation emails do not say anything about this, but she assured me it was noted in the system. Do we need to be worried about not getting adjoining?

Last time we stayed club level there was a door to another room. It can be hit or miss with staff mebers regarding room requests.

For those saying that you requested adjoining rooms - remember that is not the rooms with the connecting door. Adjoining rooms can just be room near each other while connecting rooms have the door.

since we could not be guaranteed connecting rooms we went with the kids suite since it has the extra bathroom and with the superbowl code it was cheaper than 2 connecting rooms, now my next question....has anyone ever stayed in a kids suite i cant seem to find too much info on these.

thanks all
