I've only been to Universal once but might go again at the end of August or beginning of September. I'm getting a rate of $164(plus tax) for garden view at the Hard Rock using the Fan discount. I checked ENT and that is higher. Is this a good rate?

Also, do they have a Length of stay pass? My DS7 and I would probably only go to the parks for 2 days there. Although, I would consider getting some kind of pass that had days that never expire.

EDIT - I called directly and the ENT rate was quoted as $134 plus tax. I guess the rate wasn't available when I checked on-line, only if I called.

So - to answer my own question, ENT is better!!

that is a great rate! You will love that hotel. Fan club rate is usually higher than entertainment, so if you got it cheaper, book it! Definitely worth it, IMO.

mary--we always bought length of stay until last August when we upgraded our LOS to AP's! If I had to buy passes, I would probably check with AAA and compare to the price for LOS. I think a 3 day, 2 park was about $90 at AAA last time I checked.
