1. Can you still rent a fridge for $25 for the length of your stay?

2. We are typically clubbies, but we're not staying Club this trip (:(). Where do you get your boarding passes printed if you're not staying Club? And what is the cost?

TIA

1. I was under the impression that rate $25.00 was per night? We usually get a cooler box from the Walgreens down the road on I-Drive and fill it with ice from one of the machines in the hall or you could always squeeze whatever you have in the mini-bar. We have also done this in the past with no problems.

2. What boarding pass?

For our flight home, so we don't have to do it at the airport. We usually just have the club staff do it for us, or use the computer ourselves in the club lounge. I feel like a fish out of water. :)

Anyone know about the fridge?

You may be able to get it done in the Business Center which is located across from the Velvet Bar.

I think the fridge is still $25 a night. I have it written that way on my other web pages. I'd visit Publix and stock the cooler like I tell everyone. Do it before you check in.

When I drive up, we bring 2 coolers, and have to make 3 trips back and forth to the car. Lots of work, but worth it once everything is set up. Leave the styrophome coolers next to the ice machines when you leave. They don't cost much, like $7.

Thanks for the help. Rob, I see you are a Bud man. :) We were disappointed when they started only offering a $1 off Buds during happy hour in the parks. May 2006: 2 Miller Lite pints for $4.75. September 2006: 1 pint of Bud: $3.75. Now we do happy hour at NBA City. :)

We are flying and taking a car service, so we'll be packing collapsable coolers to bring along with us for our courtesy grocery stop. I just thought it'd be easier to rent a fridge than continually restocking coolers with ice. I have to say, this was one great advantage to staying at the PBH and having double sinks:

Can you make out the beers in the first sink? :)

Yes,I can see the beers, that's funny.

Have the limo drive stop at Publix. You can pick up a styrophome cooler in the beer isle, they're cheap. Then grab doughnuts, milk, juices, chips. There's a Walgreens next to Publix if you want liquor. The ice will stay cold for an entire day, best to stock it in the morning when the ice machnes are full.

Bring gallon size zip lock bags to store left overs from restaurants. Cold pizza is a nice snack after a long day at the parks.

PM me if you need transportation to/from MCO to HRH. I bought Mears' vouchers for my sister in law and they bailed.

Such a kind offer, MF! But, we used Mears once .... once! It just was not a good experience for us. :( We already have our car service lined up, and we're going to take advantage of the grocery stop since we won't be staying (sob) club. But thanks so much! :)

I always thought you could have your mini bar cleared out for a one time fee of $25. :confused3 We have always stayed club in the past, this year we are using our loews plat for a king suite at the AAA garden room rate. :) So I totally know how you feel! lol. As for your boarding pass, I know there is a hotel concierge desk on the left as you walk in the doors. This is for all hotel guests. I am sure they would print one up for you. Be sure to ask when you check in, and if they dont know just ask for guest services.

Another pointer, ask your drive to go to a grocery store with a liquor store next door.

This is exactly what we are doing! We are typically clubbies and forego the grocery stop, because club has plenty of snacks and then some. :) But, we got tired of not being able to take advantage of our platinum status because Loews First benefits don't apply to club. :( Our last 2 trips, we were platinum, yet still paid the regular AAA rate for RPR Club when we could've had a suite for much cheaper. I got tired of doing that. My hubby took one look at the pics of the renovated King Suite at the HRH, and he began campaigning for the change. We are paying $242.10 for the King Suite at HRH, and we would've paid $271.20 for a standard room at RPR Club. Mike insists we will make our own "Beer O'Clock" in the suite. :goodvibes

I got to see one of the newly renovated king suites at the HRH this past October..... you wont be disapointed!! They are AWESOME!! The photos just dont do them justice. Not sure when you are going or how long you are staying, but the last 2 years I have been able to get the super savers rate Hoping for that this year too. Its 20% off of the rack rate for 5 or more nights (atleast for October), and since its a published rate it counts towards loews first.

We are excited to stay in a suite for the first time. We are going May 3 - May 8. Right now HRH is only at a 10% AAA discount, while the other 2 hotels are at 20% (and there are no supersaver rates for these dates yet). I am hoping that the rate will come down as we get closer, but if not, we're OK with that too.

I remember having a rate of $125 for a standard room at HRH back in September of 2003. Too bad I never got to enjoy that rate ... I broke my foot less than a week before we were supposed to go, and I had to cancel. We never saw those rates again!

I just called HRH about price of Fridge because I will need one for our stay in Feb. The price is $15 per day. I too thought is it was $20 or $25 for length of stay but I guess they are trying to make additional income any way they can.
