Sorry if these are stupid questions but I'm confused :confused3

Booking HRH for next July : HRH website advertise a daily rate..

Is this the same as our rate per night i.e. If I want to stay for 2 nights (Tuesday + Wednesday) do I pay for 2 or 3 days????

Also the front of the line (Express) perk on the tickets - would that be valid for 3 days if I only book 2 nights ie staying Tuesday + Wednesday night is it vaild for Tues / Wed / Thurs as I check out Thurs morning??

Current daily rate for cheapest room with AAA discount is $305 is this good?? Or is there a better site to get this price down? :teeth: and if so could I still get AAA discount?

Tony

Yes. Daily rate is the same. HRH price you've got is high. If you want to stay there and not the Royal Pacific (less expensive but very nice) you can take the rate that you've been offered and then call them to get it reduced if a cheaper rate becomes available. For some reason, HRH rates for July are a bit high at the moment. We are staying at the RPR in July but would like to add one night at HRH.
You are correct regarding the express. You take advantage as soon as you would try to check in on the first morning, and use it the whole day that you leave. ie. if you booked for one night, you would get 2 days worth. Much better than buying a guided tour etc. :) Make sure you sign up for LOEWS HOTEL membership. Costs nothing but there are a couple of perks. :thumbsup2

Thanks Mikey,

If I book on-line how much deposit is usually due - with the balance due when ?

As I understand it then if I book now at the advertised rate and then check in say 6 months and find it advertised cheaper I just call and ask them to charge me the new cheaper rate ?? Is that right ???

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony,

When we booked HRH (direct through the Universal link that takes you through to the Loews site) we gave our CC details and were told one night's reservation would be immediately taken.

It never was, and we had to pay all hotel charges when we checked out (ouch ;) )

I'm not sure about your other question I'm afraid, I know it works that way at WDW but I'm not sure about Universal. I'm sure someone will know :)

Yep. You've got it. Just give them a ring and get the newly offered price. That's what everyone seems to do, and what we will do if I see less than $191.20 appear for a standard room at RPH. :sunny:

thanks all,

I have seen a daily rate of $260.10 for a garden view through Tavelnow.com.
However this states it does not include tax or surcharges from the hotel... how much are these ? and has anyone used travelnow.com before ?

Many thanks,
Tony
