We're a family of four (tall 12 & 17 year old DSs) and sharing a regular room is not going to work for us without an Aero bed or a cot. We'll be taking the car along so taking an Aero bed would work, but I don't like the idea of it being in the way during the day. On the other hand the cot would be in the way also and it would be an extra $25/night.

Right now our rate for a 2Q regular room would be $233/night while a Deluxe 2 Q room would be $305. I'm having a fit paying the $233/night as it is. Is it really worth the extra $$$ for a suite?

I've been searching for pictures of both but I can't find them. Also, I've found conflicting room sizes on the Loews site. One place lists the sq. ft. as 400 and one place at 500. Which is it? :confused3 :confused3

Have you tried the AAA rates? Standard room is about 400 and deluxe around 550, I think. The deluxe room is what we always gets for our family with two teens. The deluxe room isn't a suite but just a larger room with a pullout couch.

What are your dates and we'll check for better rates for you?

My dates are a little flexible. Anywhere from July 24 - July 29 for 3 nights. I tried the AAA and APH discounts and they are the same right now. Thanks for helping.

That's actually a pretty good price for mid summer. It is very comparable to similar resorts at Disney (actually cheaper) that won't give you express passes for every ride. That alone, in the middle of summer, is well worth it!!!

Just keep watching prices. I would book something soon though, since the park is really popular in the summer. You can always cancel or get your rate changed as time gets closer.

Thanks for the great site! DH wants to splurge for the bigger room.

It is too bad that the 360 of the garden view standard room isn't available on that site, but you can get a good idea of how big the deluxe room is. The suite in the first 360 would be nice!!!!
