I just called the HRH to ask a question about an upgrade of our Standard Pet Friendly Room at check in. I was told that the HRH has redone several pet friendly rooms and they now even offer a Deluxe Pet Friendly Room. I was offered a discounted price on this room as an All Access member so I went ahead and reserved it rather than taking a chance on it not being available when we arrive.

Oh no! That's the one thing I do not like about the Universal resorts.

We are getting ready to head to HRH tomorrow and have a garden view room booked (we are bringing our pets).

I don't recall if the room is a "standard", just noticed there was garden or pool view noted? What are the differences in the room?

I would think the room selections are limited this month due to the summer...are you going after the summer?

I just love how they cater to your pets...that's why we love going out there.

Also, about what was the price difference between the standard and deluxe room?

I don't have the All Access membership and didn't know if worth getting or able to get at last minute? Is the room discount really good?

A "Standard" room is a Garden room with an obstructed view, usually an exterior wall of the hotel or something like that. I was told the price difference between a standard room and a deluxe room was $75 per night but was offerred the room at half that. That may also be because of the time of year (early - mid December). I took it for the extra space. You and your pets enjoy "Living Like A Rockstar".:rockband:

Funny. That's one of the things we love about them.

Us too! It's also the biggest reason UO beats out WDW for our vacation $$$. Naturally, we also love other things about UO, but this is the biggie.

We don't have an All Access card. I should check into that. I'm not sure if it would help us or not. We're FL residents & are going Christmas day to New Years day. I can't imagine there will be many discounts that time of year. I need to get motivated & book a room already. :rolleyes1
