We have reserved kids suites on several trips both at PBH and HRH. The kids suites are all located above and below eachother on all floors. There are rooms right off the elevator. As you are walking off the elevator and are walking towards the hallways, you take a right and they are the first rooms located on the left. Close to the elevators like you wanted - however - and a BIG however - you will pass a set of double doors = those are the service elevators and during the day you hear alot of the humming of the elevators and carts coming on and off the floors. It is very infrequent during the evening hours and you hardly notice the noise. You cannot hear the noise from your part of the suite, but you can hear it from the kid's room and if they sleep during the day it could be something to think about. Normally I would say, "don't worry about it because you are not in your room that much". But one our trips my boys took ill with a virus and they found it difficult to rest - Mgmt. offered to move us but said it would not matter because the suites are all located near the service elevators.
The kids will love having their own niche and so will you!
This will be the first trip where our boys are old enough to be in their own rooms - so we reserved connecting rooms on the club floor...... No more kids suites...... (sniff, sniff)

I am not too worried about the noise. My kids never nap 
and our house is always noisy anyway.
