HRH Jan 13-16

I just booked the HRH for Jan 13-16. This is my favorite weekend to go away during the winter. Love to watch the AFC Championship game while chilling out by the cabana!!

Up until this afternoon there havent been any rooms available for the 13th, they must have opened up more room, so if anyone is looking for those dates, there are rooms available!!

Builders' Convention from January 11 - 13th - approximately 110,000 people descending on Orlando. Could be a zoo. We have reservations at Portofino Bay from January 12- 14th and I'm a little worried about what we will find with all these people in Orlando. The three hotels at Universal are considered official hotels of the convention, along with several at WDW and many others in Orlando. Airport will probably be jammed and traffic will mostly likely be ugly. I'm also worried about Downtown Disney - could be a nightmare.

I know, I'm being a total downer - Sorry. Just found out today about this big convention and I'm totally bummed.
