Are there separate buildings for the smoking and non-smoking rooms? If not what floors are the smoking rooms? Reading the boards it sounds like the pet friendly floor is the 5th floor, is this the only floor? My daughter and I are allergic to cats so I will be emailing HRH and ask for a pet free room but my husband smokes so I'm afraid we might get placed in a room the furthest away. Has anyone ever requested a smoking but pet free room? And if so, what's the room number. Thanks! :)
PS - is there an email address for HRH in Orlando? I have their fax & reservations number and the only email address I have is for Loew's. thanks again!

Just got back last Friday from 3 night stay at HRH Club level.

The hotel is divided into different wings, not separate buildings.

On the 7th floor were I was, there were smoking rooms (which Loews now annoyingly refers to as "smoking optional," a stupid euphemism if I ever heard one; I was about to ask the staff at the check in desk if they also has "smoking mandatory" rooms), which were on separate hallway than the non-smoking. So if you are staying at Club level, you could pretty much guarantee a non-pet smoking room.

I don't know about the non-club floors (ergo, if outside the Club level smoking is only allowed on 5). As for that floor, I doubt cats are very comon in it (the only pets we saw while at the HRH were a few smaller dogs).

cats, dogs and all other animals are allowed at hrh.
exotic ones must be caged in the room.

the lower floors only are for pets.
the reason for this is so the owners can take the animal out for a walk when needed. you never see an animal in the elevator, so you know the lower floor is the one they stay in.

smoking........don't know about that one.
when i was on club level i did not detect any smoke.

Just back from HRH. My sister & family were originally assigned to a room on the first floor, which was a smoking room (they subsequently requested and received a non-smoking room). They were told that all of the smoking rooms are located on the first floor. Last year when my family & I went, we were originally told we'd have a room on the first floor, even though we had specifically requested non-smoking (none of us smoke). We walked partway down the corridor, turned around and asked for a different room. You can tell those rooms are smoking. Plus, last year we went after the first two hurricanes, the rugs were wet and musty. There's no way I'd stay down there! If you're a smoker but can go without while in your room, I's ask for a non-smoking room.

Re: the pet rooms, I thought they were on the 6th floor? My son is allergic, so I asked for a non-pet room which I received (ended up in 4099).
