HRH-holding luggage after checkout

Hi,
We are planning to stay at HRH for either two or three nights. I understand that checkout is 11:00 a.m. Will the HRH hold our luggage if we want to visit the Universal/Island of Adventure parks after we check out of our room?

Is there a chance that we could get a late checkout?

Hi if u join Loews reward program u will get late checkout till 1pm

You get until noon automatically, 1 hour grace period. It all depends on availability. It's a good idea to call the front desk the morning you check out and ask.
They'll hold your bags if you need more time. They want a tip.

We usually wake up early, pack, then visit a park until 10:30am, then check out right at 11am. 1.5 hours is plenty of time to hit favorites.

Thanks. We did join Loews and have a card, so maybe we can stay alittle longer at the park. I appreciate your help!

Late check outs are given "if available". At any rate, you can stay at the park all day if you want. They will hold your luggage for you with no problem. We always just check out (KEEP YOUR ROOM KEY), leave our bags at the bell station, and go to the parks. If you want to clean up after the parks, you can use the showers at the gym.

Thanks for this information. Our flight doesn't leave until almost 8 pm, so we're planning a full day at US/IOA on our last day (hoping the kids will then be so worn out, they'll sleep all the way home). We'd prefer to leave our bags with bell services rather than leaving them in our rental car, just for safety reasons.

You can also use the showers (and free shampoo, conditioner etc) in the Health Club....they were very friendly and the facilities were fantastic

you can do a late check out at 2 pm if you have a gold card.

i've done that.


my flight was at 8:30 pm and checked out, had the luggage kept in the baggage area and spent the day at the park.

like another posted stated, you can use the showers down by the pool if you need to even after you have checked out.

We had a bit of a hassle with a late checkout last week, first of all John offered $50 to let us check out at 1pm, or half room rate to check out at 2pm (would have been $175). I couldn't help but laugh, as he had offered this "deal" because I had a $3 charge from Margaritaville and he felt this would give me time to investigate it once the restaurant opened. I politely refused his "generous offer". Within 10 minutes I had a call back saying that we could have a 2pm checkout with no charge.
