I emailed Loews to complain about the rate change for parking. I was charged 12 when my confirmation email from 3 days before said 10 per night. Anyway...Chris Garcia (manager) of Hard Rock emailed with his apologies and offered to credit my card the difference. It was a very nice email and he really sounded sincere.
GOOD GOING HARD ROCK!!!! YOU DONE GOOD!!!!!

Good for you. I had a couple movie charges on my PBH bill after we checked out. It was weird, I got the paper under the door, things looked fine, I checked out, and then when I got home noticed two movies right as we were checking out. They also billed us for a bottle of water. At the PBH, they have two bottles of water on the table, but we only had one. So they thought we drank it. I called them up and said we didn't watch any movies as we checked out and the room only had one bottle of water. They credited my card a week later. Wooo Hooo.

I wasn't touching the water in our room....we had 2 bottles, but at $6 each.... :scared: fuggetaboutit

At HRH the water is only $4.90 - how do I know this? We had a bottle sitting in the room (just one) that we never touched. We checked out and my credit card was charged the folio total, plus another charge of $4.90. I called and they said it was a mini-bar charge. I reminded them that we never even had a mini-bar key. Then they said it was water. I pointed out that we were on club level and had water down the hall and had never touched the bottle. They credit the card for the extra charge.

LOL, YES, you pay to park at the hotel. It just went up to $12 a night, and get this, they charge 6.5% tax on it billed seperately. So it's really $12.78 a night, wooo hooo.

So basically you just add another $13.00 to the price of the hotel per night. :guilty:

Yep, plus a whopping 11% of tax per night. Now you can budget.
Take each night, add 11%, and then $13.

After Sept. 1 the tax rate will change to 12.5% :(

What is this world coming to???????
