Just booked the HRH with a FL resident rate of $149 for Dec 19-22nd.. couldn't believe the rate was still available. They also had PB for $169, but the RPR wasn't available with the FL rate, it was $189 per night... now if I could just get a good rate for the weekend of 10/8 ::yes::

Did you use Be A Star or Loews? I asked for that same time last week and got a "No" to APH, FLO, FAN, and Platinum. Good rate.

I used the online ressies and then called the number from the online 1-888-837-2273 both said no... I am a Lowes Gold not Platninum.... would that matter...who did you call Lowes? I may just end up doing Priceline for that weekend. I am already staying onsite WDW for Nov & Dec then onsite Universal in Dec as well..... I really just wanted it so I didn't have to drive after leaving HHN. I haven't gotten my tickets yet for that either so I can switch my weekends. I need to see what my daughter can do with getting off from work.

I called "Be A Star" for Dec. rates. I asked when value season turned to Holiday season (which is the 23rd) and got a line of sales nonsense about how busy they are from now until Christmas. You received a good HRH rate and they might even cough up a suite for my Platinum. The only problem is our school calendar shows 12/20 as a hurricane make-up day? I think they have already missed 3 days.
I tried every trick in the book for Priceline over the 10/15 weekend with no luck. I actually got a better deal for the 10/1 with Hotwire.
Don't worry about USO/IOA selling out for HHN tickets since both parks hold a ton (80k?) of people. They might, however, sell out of express books on peak nights. I'm excited about the VIP Tour!:bounce: Only a dozen days to go!

You guys are lucky that they only missed three days from the hurricanes, we have missed 8 days already. We have a make up on 11/24 & 1/3. Our county is asking the state to "forgive" the 6 we missed from Charley since we had some major damage done. Hope they excuse it, if not, we will be adding on to the end of the year! I can't believe you have a make up on 12/20...that stinks! When you were trying PL did you add the Disney Zone? I have found that I can get more there than the Universal zone. Also do you know if I can get the AP rate for the HHN tickets at Spencers? Or do I have to order online? I have only gotten them while up at Universal so I am not sure. Thanks...
