HRH Cabanas

I am planning on renting a non-themed cabana for the day. Can anyone tell me is the best cabana to rent? Best Location? Thanks!

Hi its been posted that they have raised the prices for non themed to $150 as well, so it maybe worth your while looking at any cabana

Everyone goes for cabanas 7-10. 8 and 9 are not theamed. A kiddie pool is in front of them, so if you don't have kids, then try the others.

Sorry if it's a dumb question...but I'm thinking of spoiling my DB and myself in the HRH stay.So...Which themes they have? Like Caribbean theme or something about music?

Only two cabanas have themes. Cabana #7 is the Yellow Submarine. And Cabana #10 is Stevie Wonder. It's just a back drop, and the chairs match the colors. It's a bunch of hype if you ask me.

I have to agree. We had 7 & 8 last year. We actually preferred 8, as you could not open the back of 7 due to the backdrop. Except for the extra pop/water and the floats, we could not tell any difference. In fact, we had the kids in the Yellow Submarine and the adults in 8, but some of the kids kept trying to hang out in our cabana because they said it had a better breeze with all 4 sides open.

Hi,
We're just back from the HRH--we rented Cabana's 4 and 9--both non themed. 4 was shaded and away from the pool, actually right on the walkway from the hotel to the pool and right beside a speaker that made for a loud day. We had to move our chairs away from the cabana a little to catch the sun--although in August--the shade was much more comfortable! 9 was perfect--espcially if you are there for the dive-in movie (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, this summer anyway). Nice view of the movie, right on top of the pool and we did get some breeze. You have full sun right in front of the cabana.

I must say I was a little disappointed with our second rental--first they had no remote for the tv, I couldn't call out from the phone using a calling card and it took awhile to get service--it was supposedly a slow day (monday) so it looked like there were fewer servers available. We sat in the cabana holding menus for about 20-30 minutes until we finally got service. (yes, I could have gotten up and ordered at the bar....) We did have a great day though and tried not to let any little things get in the way of a great vacation!! We love the Hard Rock and can't wait to return!

Non themed picks for me would be 8 & 9. This location is great.

I'm sitting at the airport right now after spending the whole day in #9. I'd say I'd rent #9 over any of them - great location.

I'd also never spend the extra dough for the "themed" cabanas. No big deal IMHO.
