Just got back and for a RAIN vacation not so bad. Yes it rained everyday, sometimes bad, sometimes just drizzle all day long. Kind of regretful, but... we ended up doing more park then sit at HRH pool..I will not say Rain everyday, but it did.. Deluxe room with pool view on first floor. we were at the very end of the hall - other side from beach club bar, quiet. We were able to walk right out the exit at the end and be at the pool. so it was fine. No upgrade available. We showed our girls report cards and they all received the Grade A program. a little gift bag with balls, small blow up thing - but their card ( room key) said Grade A Program and that is what you show the bar for your free drinks.. they felt special and what a great idea! ANyways, we did alot of park jumping - we activated our AP's - no wait ( 10 minutes and we wer on our way) 20% discount inside - great! we saw everything- I especially liked the treatment we received. Daughter had surgery 4 months back and we had her wheelchair- she can transfer out, but was thrilled with stationary seats at JN ride! She was able to sit in her chair for Shrek, they even have the wheelchair seats in the middle of the theater - talk about inclusion! The Cat in the Hat ride was her favorite, esp. when we asked them to switch off the spin! Thank you US/IOA! Shows were all great and her favorite too! We ate at Hard Rock Cafe and Nascar for lunch or lupper as we call it (2:00) it was ok- but LOUD... to loud if you ask me, not enjoyable. we ended up eating at the hotel- that was nice too. Mostly we grabbed something inside the park to dodge the rain! HRH was wonderful and even though we did not have full days of lounging pool side it was fun and we did get to play for a while. Still love it and the kids want to return... hey with AP's I have too! I found the park not that crowded as like Easter week or school break time. any questions just ask.
