Crystal: *smiles* Okay. Wow, have I slept all day? Not sure when I went into the woods, but I know I didn't eat dinner last night! I should probably eat soon! *in a low voice* Lightning's going to kill me.

Crystal: Oh, you heard that? I talk to myself too loudly, sorry. No, not really a friend. He likes to call himself my friend, he likes to believe he's my friend, but he isn't. He's my next door neighbor. Hufflepuff prefect. Annoying as heck. His favorite thing to do is criticize me for "blocking out the world" as he calls it. anyway, he's been on edge for a few months now ever since one of our neighbors died in what Jackson calls a "freak accident" and I call "me making a stupid mistake which resulted in someone losing his life which means it's my fault". He sees the bandages, he'll immediately jump to the worst conclusion.

Crystal: Eh. I guess he means well, he's just got a jerkish way of going about it. Long story short, back in July me and the neighborhood kids were rock climging in a nearby canyon whe the boy below me's rope snapped. I grabbed him, but then someting fell, and I reached out to grab it with one hand and the boy fell. He died. So, it's my fault. Last noght when I gavw him the long version Jackson said it was a freak accident and it wasn't my fault but I don't believe him.
