HPRP Another Year 2: Spells, Quidditch, and More Dangerous Games

Max: It's just a few errands and then I'm gonna go visit the graveyard where my family's buried. No big deal. I'm not going to go chasing after death eaters or anything.

Adam: Alright. But don't think you can go of and kill people without telling me.

Adam: Alright. But don't think you can go of and kill people without telling me.

Max: I'm not a murderer. The only reason I'd ever kill is because someone, death eater, regular wizard or anyone else is threatening me, my family or my friends and it's self defense. Death eaters count. But I'm not going to go looking for trouble. I'm not stupid. Man, this portkey takes forever!

Adam: I never said that. *arrives in a medium sized room that has bookshelves lined up along every wall, filled with hidden books about Visionaries, except where a mantle and fireplace, with a fire in it now, stands. In the middle there is a large table with a lamp on top* Here we are!

Max: *blinks, looks around* It's a library!

Max: *blinks, looks around* It's a library!

Adam: I have a feeling this is just a hidden section of the library. They don't want just anyone looking at these books, though. And they don't look like they've been touched in a while.

Max: Yeah........have you read any of them? If there's anything we haven't learned, it'll be here, whether it's good news or bad news. I wonder.......

Adam: *shakes his head* I waited for you to see it all. Think of everything these books hold!

Max: If there is anything that can help us, it's here. *walks to the shelves and begins scanning the books* This is a treasure trove of information!

Adam: *pulls out a book* This book has all of the Visionaries ever in it. *flips to the last page* We're even in it!

Max: What? *walks over to him and stands on her tiptoes to look at the book over his shoulder* Wow.........Look, it's got our dates of birth and the dates we became visionaries and how we became visionaries too! How can it do that?

Adam: Well, a Visionary probably made this book, and probably edits it once he gets more information.

Max: But how can he edit it if the book is here? You know what, nevermind. There are probably more important questions. *goes over to the bookshelf*

Adam: *pulls out another book* Remember those cruel stories that they made that made Visionaries look like monsters? Here's a whole collection of them. Hermione might want to read this.

Max: Huh. *picks up a book* *reads tilte* "The Untold Truths: What Every Visionary Should Know." I'll try this one. *opens it up*

Adam: *puts other book in his backpack* Let's see....Ah! *grabs book* "Spells Made for Visionary Use". Sounds interesting.

OOC: Had dinner.

Max: *reads* This is interesting.........

Ten Facts Every New Visionary Should Know.

1. You have ten lives to start out with. That does not mean you are immortal. Proceed with caution.
2. You can summon visions via an object with a special enchantment. However, you will still receive unexpected visions. This is completely natural. You will not be able to stop them.
3. There is no cure to being a Visionary, and there is no medicine that will prevent or reduce the amount of visions. Try to stay positive about this.
4. As one of the Visionary abilities, you can bring a person back to life. However, this person will become a Visionary. Proceed with caution.
5. Visionaries are hated and feared unfairly. Refrain from revealing the fact that you are a Visionary. People will try to kill you until you have no more lives left.
6. When you die, you will become an entirely different person. You could be a different age, have a different appearance, have a different voice, or a mixture of these or even something else. There is no preventing this, although there are spells and potions that will show your true form for a limited time. However you will always be a wizard.
7. When danger is near, you will rhyme uncontrollably. This is especially bad for prophetic visionaries. However, wearing a shell will stop the rhyming for as long as you wear it.
8. As you die over and over again, your memories of past lives will begin to fade, until they seem like events in a history book or a legend from your childhood. Though upsetting, this is natural. Visionaries are currently searching for a way to retain these memories.
9. Personality breakage is when your personalites of different lives clash or contradict each other. It is likely to happen when you have recently died and you have not remembered all of your memories from your past life. While annoying, it is a concern.
10. Once in every Visionary's lifetime, their powers will overwhelm them and they will have a mental breakdown. If the breakdown is severe and/or left untreated, the visionary could lose their visionary powers and extra lives. However, most cases are mild and the Visionaries with mild cases are relatively undamaged. No one knows why this happens, but stress, anger, and physical pain could be some causes, and although it will happen only once, no one can predict when it will happen.

Wow. I didn't know about the breakdowns.

OOC: Had dinner.

Max: I bet that will have some tools for us. *with the open book in her left hand, searches shelves* *picks up a very dark green book, looks at the cover, puts it in her bag* *looks at another book* *reads the title* "The Life and Predictions of Adrian Auburn." Who's Adrian Auburn?

Adam: *looks up from his book* It kind of makes since, in a way.

Adam: Visionary, but that's just a guess. *continues reading* These spells are very interesting. A spell that you can use on objects so that Visionaries in vision can interact with them, one so that a Visionary can possess others while in vision (a little disturbing), and one for transforming you to your first life appearance and changing you back to your current life.
