We (BTW "we" means 2 families: 2 adults; 2 adults, 2 children.) are planning a week vacation in May 2015 and we know we are definitely booking the HP Package through Universal. (We are HUGE HP fans!)

We are considering doing a 3-night Bahama cruise for the remainder of the week. But we don't know if we want to go through Disney (which seems to be double the price of the other cruise lines) or Royal Carribbean or Carnival or I don't know! It's very overwhelming

Has anyone done a similar scenario before? What do you suggest we do?

Also, for some reason I am freaking out about transportation from the airport to Universal, from Universal to the cruise departure port, and from the cruise departure port to the airport. It seems like so much to plan!!

Make sure you compare prices before you definitely book that HP package. There isn't anything in that package that you can't get separately, often at better prices. Often, purchasing one power pass (annual pass) will give you much lower hotel rates. The code for annual pass rates is APH (May rates aren't out yet).

Transportation shouldn't be a big deal. There are bus options from the airport to the cruise ports. Otherwise, just use a van cab.

yes I've compared booking separately vs booking the package. I save about $200 with the package.
