HP items in other IoA shops

Wondering about what HP items would be available outside of WWOHP...

Does anyone have a good sense of what might be purchased on the way out of the park? We would rather not purchase and carry anything around and buying on the way to the car makes a lot of sense. That stated, I don't want to have anyone's heart set on something and then not be able to buy it! That would not be ideal...

Any info would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

At least some of the wands are available at the main store in Port of Entry (on the right as you exit) and at the Universal Store in CityWalk, in addition to Orlando International if you are flying. You cannot get butterbeer outside of WWoHP. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

When I was there in January, they had a lot of the HP merchandise in both of the large stores at the front IOA and US and also in the US store in City Walk. They did have different merchandise in each store though. I was looking for a perticular sweatshirt I saw at Filch's Emporium. They didn't have it in the IOA or US store but I found it in City Walk.

The only thing I noticed for sure that they did NOT have in stores outside HP was the "Birthday Wands". They have a variety of generic wands in the HP section that are based on your birthday. In the stores outside of the section, they only had the character wands. My DH wanted his birthday wand so we had to go back to the HP section to get it.

Don't forget that you can buy something in the HP section and have it sent to the big store at the front for pick-up on the way out.

The store in Port of Entry has recently expanded its HP area. There is a lot of HP merchandise, including some of the more pricey stuff, out there.

Don't forget that you can buy something in the HP section and have it sent to the big store at the front for pick-up on the way out.

If you're staying in one of the three onsite hotels (and possibly the Partner hotels, although I'm not sure) then anything you buy in the Park's stores will be delivered to the hotel for you.

Other than that, it takes about two hours for things you buy in the other stores to get to the pickup desk at Port of Entry- and if you do this, photograph the ticket they give you with your camera or camphone and send the image to a friend or family member at home just in case the ticket (and phone) go missing.

They won't send food, though, not even the packaged hard candies at Honeydukes, and since the chocolate is meltable, I recommend going back into the WWoHP and buying your chocolate wands and frogs and skeletons at the last minute - or getting the frogs at Port of Entry.

if you are a day guest in the park, you can also use the service of having your purchases held for you until you leave the park.

when you buy something in the stores, tell the clerk you want it sent up front and will pick it up when you leave the park later.

you are given a claim stub for your purchases.

go to the main store and get your items before you leave the park.



runners go to the shops in the park at regular intervals.
they pick up these purchases and take them to the main pick up place at the front of the park.

i've lost/misplaced my claim stub before when buying merch and having it held for me.

i still was able to pick up my merch without it.
had to show id and answer some questions such as, "what is in the bag"

didn't have an id on me so since i answered the questions and said what i bought, no problem.

We purchased the Bertie Botts we had promised Ben, a chocolate frog for Nate (Helga Hufflepuff was the Famous Wizard Card inside) and a shirt for me and had these items sent back to the room:

We purchased this shirt, Bertie Botts and a Chocolate Frog at the Port of Entry because the shops in Hogsmeade were way too busy.
