We usually go at the end of november but not this year :sad1: . Anyone know what the weather and crowds are like in Jan or feb? Also, what about the humidity? We can't go when it is hot and humid because of my daughter's issues.

Thanks

We have been at WDW in January the past 3 years. Except for the marathon week, the crowds were small. The weather is a toss of the dice.....usually warm days (60's) but cool nights (30-40's). Dress warm for illuminations. So come prepared...turtlenecks, hooded sweatshirts or jackets, gloves, hats for the evening hrs.

We have gone the last week of Jan into the first week of February and found it to be WONDERFUL!!! :goodvibes The days start out mostly in the 40's-50's and quickly warm up with that wonderful Florida sunshine into the 70's most days. We have hit some days in the high 50's low 60's and also days in the mid 80's! :sunny:
The crowds are just not there like many other times of the year...the longest wait for Splash Mountain we have ever waited is 15 minutes...I actually think that Peter Pan or Winnie the Pooh have the longest at 40 min! We are so spoiled! :rolleyes1
Great time of the year! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We have been in January twice and February once and we are heading back in February again in 2006. I think the weather is pretty good for the most part. The first year in January the weather was perfect high 70s to low 80s all week with no rain. The second year in January it was still pretty good but with a little more rain and cooler temps. February was very nice with temps mostly in the 70s . . . some rain but not terrible. I don't think it is humid and your daughter should do okay with the weather.

We liked the weather in January as described above. A bit chilly at night for the pools but kids still went in. :cold: It was really funny seeing the lifeguards in coats, hats, scarves and mittens! Jogging suits worked out great for us for the parks - you could take off the jacket and if you got wet you quickly dried. At night we layered our jogging suits with polartec vests and were golden. :wizard:

I'm a Floridian here. You won't have humidity then. We do have perfect weather at that time of year, but we also get warm and cold fronts. Just watch the weather for down here before you leave. Other than that our weather is perfect that time of year!!!!

We've been to WDW during the last week of January for the past two years. It's pretty cool for us during the early mornings and evenings but I saw people in shorts and t-shirts. We love that time of year because it is less crowded. The days are shorter and the park closes earlier but there is no problem getting everything done because you don't have to wait. It frees up the evening for a relaxing dinner or spending time at DTD. Too cold to swim though but I think that it is good trade off.
