OK I hate doing this but for whatever reason I'm having a tough time keeping my enthusiasm for our Disney trip (GASP) .:earseek:

How's this for a lsit of restaurants? Have any suggestions or instead-of's?
We're staying at POR and we get in at noon on thursday12/4

First day:
Beaches and Cream (never been here)
Candlelight Processional @ 5:00 (never been)
Biergarten @ 7:15 (CP Dinner Package)

Day 2:
50's Primetime Cafe @5:25(love it here)
Cirque @9:00 (never been)

Day 3:
Boma @ 5:40 (LOVE IT!!)

Day 4:
Whispering Canyon Cafe @1:00(never been)

Day5:
Sci-fi Dine in Theater(never been)

Day 6:
Crystal Palace @ 5:30(never been)
See everyone there just before MVMCP!

Day 7:
nothing yet, we will be at DisneyQuest

Day 8:
Princess Storybook Breakfast @8:30 (love it)

Nothing for days 9 and 10

Day 11:
Kona Kafe for dinner
Tour the Monorail resorts to see Christmas decorations!

We'll do our share of counter service. I don't want to schedule more than 1 PS a day for a sit down meal...past experience has taught me well! I hate being rooled around the parks because I ate too much, too often!

I included the times for Cirque, MVMCP and the CP so you could see why I chose some eateries and their times. I also have 3 days of no eating!! This may cause a problem, what are your thoughts?

Thanks so much!

Now that I've picked myself off the floor from your first statement....

Just kidding!

I think your list looks great. DH and I did CP 2 years ago and while we were not just WOW-ed by as some people are, we enjoyed it and are glad we did it. I have not been to La Nouba before, but have seen some other Cirque shows and LOVED them. We'll be doing La Nouba in Nov...can't wait! Sci-Fi is on my list of things to definitely try. I really enjoyed my last visit here and bet you'll enjoy it, too. There are several places on here that I've never been, but are on my list for my upcoming trip. So, I would say your list looks GREAT and try a Disney dance around the room to get you motivated. (This will especially be interesting if you are at work as I am right now! :p )

Sorry, I hit the button too soon! I wanted to add something to that.

If you are going to be at Disney Quest, you might want to try Fulton's Crab House if you are a fan of fresh seafood. I consider myself someone who gets just as excited over where I eat as I do what parks I'm in, and all five of us, kids too, loved this place. The shrimp, swordfish, etc, was all fantastic, and we looked out on the water.

It's only a five minute walk from DisneyQuest.

The only other thing I'd add is O'Hanas if you like Kona. O'Hanas is just a fun place, and the food is outstanding. We spent about two hours there, and it felt like we'd just been part of a show. It's my husband's one request on our return visit this November.

Have a ball! (and eat some for me, would you?)

Looks pretty good jdads. Day 1 sounds about perfect. Be careful about filling up at B&C and ruining your appetite for dinner. The burgers at B&C are good (I prefer the double with cheddar) and BIG. Add in a huge ice cream sunday and you can get mighty full. Anyway, I think B&C is a good choice before you head to Epcot.

You are going to LOVE the Candlelight Processional. IMHO it is the best show put on in WDW at any time of year. Wispering Canyon is a fun place, for kids and adults alike. Last time we went there we got milk shakes and my friend was joking and said he wanted a peanut butter shake (which isn't on the menu). Well, they made it for him and the server asked him his name (he said it was Bubba) and she announced the Bubba Special to the whole restaurant. They do lots of silly stuff like that and it is hard to trip them up. The CM's are fun to interact with, and they do fun stuff for the kids.

Sci-Fi Dine-In............well, once was enough for us just to see the atmosphere. It is worth seeing once, and the milkshakes are good, but don't expect a lot from the food. Hey, if you go in with low expectations you might even be pleasantly surprised. When it comes to the Studios, we love the Brown Derby. It is more expensive, but IMHO it is by far the best restaurant in the Studios. Great relaxing vintage atmosphere and great food.

Crystal Palace is a good choice. I have always found the food to be very good for a buffet and the characters are great.

As for those open days...................maybe a character breakfast? We love 1900 Park Fare at the GF. The strawberry soup alone is worth the trip. Of course, they have the strawberry soup at dinner and Cinderella's Royal Feast is a good choice with a princess fan in the group..............and the food is pretty good. Any chance for another peak at the GF decorations is a bonus as well.
