I was out doing some last minute shopping today, for my WDW trip a few days off, and low and behold, I come across a Disney Store.
Now, I have not really 'shopped' a Disney Store since they went to the 'toys and Princess' inventory a year or so ago. I have stopped in a few, but made quick exits after about 2 minutes in them.
After reading several threads here on the DIS (ya just gotta love this place
), telling of how much they have improved of late, (with adult items again, some collectibles, etc) I thought I would go in and give it a look.
Well, I did come across this nice, well made (looks like it at least), nicely detailed, hooded Mickey 75th birthday sweatshirt.
(A classic character for classic style. Celebrate Mickey's 1928 Disney Debut on our full-cut sweatjacket. Zip-front with ''Mickey'' zipper pull, contrast drawstring hood, embroidered art on chest, ''Classic Character'' woven patch on pouch pocket, ''M'' patch on sleeve. Ribbed cuffs and hem. 80% cotton/20% polyester.)
I was originally looking at a Grumpy one (same, just diiferent color and details), but, even though I have been known to be a 'grump' at times, LOL, I thought I would opt for the more innocent looking Mickey.
Normally, $39.50, was on sale, 50% off, plus my Disney Club discount (sure going to miss that 1/1/04
) of another 10%, and total was down to $18. Should be good on the chilly evenings at WDW the next few days.
And I did tell the CM's to please pass on to management that I was pleased to see the return of the items we all missed. I also told them that the visitors to a Disney Internet BB (the DIS) were also talking happily about the return of the items we missed. They agreed wholeheartedly, they missed them too.
Anyhow, that was my deal today.
I know, not much, but I liked it, LOL.

Everything was 20% off, in addition to sales, in addition to my 10% DC discount. It was GREAT! Got DS 2 t-shirts for $20, Haunted Mansion and Pirates and, a bunch of little stuff. I also had $50 in Reward money so, I came out of there $6+ ahead (for the next trip).
