How's the weather late Sept/early Oct?

Just booked our trip 9/28-10/5 and curious!

HOT! We have been plenty in September when the heat goes up in the 100s. Even mid October it can reach 90 but usually in the 80s. We are going October 2-10 this year and hoping for heat. I hate to get in the pools when it's chilly out.

Hot and it can be very WET as well. I swore off September visits for a while after our trip in Sept. '02. We stayed for 6 days and had at least a half-day of rain (started mid-afternoon and ran well into the night) 4 of the 6 days.

One of the people in our party had golf outings planned 3 days, and only went once due to unplayable conditions. I'm not sure that he even finished the round.

Other people will tell you that they had great, dry weather that time of year. Just be aware that it is one of the riskier times to visit, IMO. It does fall well within hurricane season, so you can never tell what sort of storm front might move in from the gulf.

I was there 10/1 to 10/6 last year and it wasn't bad. High 80's, just a little rain.

Oh well, we'll be in Disney World!!! And we don't golf, so....

We where there Sept 02 and it was Hot 94 all week and it did rain everyday. But it was not a wash out. Just take your rain stuff and you will be fine. Most stuff is inside anyway. It was worth the little rain to not have more that about 15 min wait. We loved it in Sept.

We were there last year Oct 1-7. It was hot some days, but not unbearably hot to the point of misery. Very little rain.

We have a trip planned this year Sept 25-Oct 3. Let's hope the hurricanes and tropical storms stay out to sea!!!
