How's the weather in late May?

We have been last week up to mid June. It is bearable if you pace yourself. Get you some cooling towels.

We've been to WDW in both late May and late August. It was definitely hot during our May trip (mid to upper 80's most days), but it was no where near as humid and rainy as our August trip.

Hmm, cooling towels, huh? What are cooling towels? And how are the little mini fans or misters for keeping cool? I really hate the heat with the humidity and swore I'd never go in the summer heat, lol! And, now here we come and sorta dreading that part about the trip, lol! Thx!

Just search "frogg toggs" on Amazon. They basically cool as you wet them. Wear them around your neck.

Thanks, found them! I'm wondering though, hard to tell their shape in the pics. Are they more square or shaped more like a neck scarf that firs atoubd back if the neck and hangs over the shoulders a bit? The size on the one says like 9.6 x3x3, that dudnt make sense and I didn't get to finish checking it out. Is one person good enough? The reviews are all raving and so positive, I'm definitely gonna get this for our upcoming trip! Thx again!

Is early May the same deal?

It's hot and in the upper 80s right now and it's only March.

If you're looking for cooler weather, in my experience that means November through mid February.

We went the week before Memorial Day in 2013. It was hot, but not unbearable. Friday and Saturday during SWW it got a little crazy hitting high 80's and low 90's. If you're standing on line waiting for meet and greets, or watching a parade, it can definitely get uncomfortable. There was some rain the first couple of days, but only a couple of hours here and there. One of our Epcot days featured a torrential downpour for a good hour, but then it stopped and cleared up in a matter of minutes.

The only downside to rain in Florida is that even after it rains, it's still hot and humid. The beginning of May is fabulous, mid to upper 80's, but not humid. The closer you get to June, the more of a chance you will get rained on!

We go a lot in this time frame and love it!!! We are headed down on May 19th and I can't wait! It is hot, but nothing unbearable and we never have had much rain either. Last May trip we had one day at AK that it rained for a couple hours and that was it. Parks are busy, but they only get busier as the summer goes on and I am sure it gets hotter and more humid with more rain chances so I say go for it! One of my favorite times to go for longer park hours and I love the summer sun and pool time! Better than freezing at Disney like the day we arrived in November this past year! brrrr that wind cut right through you.... We are so excited to do the 24 hour kick off to Summer! We know it will be crazy, but that is part of the fun.
I can tell you Epcot felt much less crowded at the end of May than in Oct when Food and Wine is going on.

We've been several times during that time and it can be very hot but it is mostly just hot.
