We were at WDW last week and it was HOT!!!! August HOT! DH and I thought it might be better to go in Feb. How's the weather that time of year?

We have been to WDW in Feb three times. You will have to pack for both cold and warm weather. It is usually cool in the morning and cool to cold in the evening (I remember one night at the Spirit of Aloha show it was 38 degrees!). The daytime temperature can be anywhere from the 50s to the low 80s. If you dress in layered clothing, you will be prepared for anything.

We love the February weather in Florida, coming from the cold northeast. We've also been there in August - never again!

We just went this past Feb. for the 1st time. I would say we had nice weather. I would call it capri pant type weather. I think it was 70 most of the time, one day close to 80, and then toward the end of the trip they were having a cold snap. 50 degrees was the temp at night. The kids swam one day, but most of the time we were so comfortable we just stayed in the parks. Very little wait for rides.

We went in February of 2004 and it was nice. Much like the pp said, capri weather. I think the hottest it got was in the low 80's and that was for one day...otherwise it was low to mid-70's during the day. The air seemed moist to me too which was a nice break from the dry winter air here in Wisconsin. I would definitely visit again in February, but I really LOVE late October! Of course, with October comes hurricane worries...so at least you don't have that concern in February!

Best of luck! Hope you had an enjoyable trip!

We went in FEB 2002 and FEB 2006 and we're planning for JAN/FEB 2007 and 2008! I don't want to go any other time because I think FEB is perfect weather and low crowds. We rarely stood in line for rides and were comfortable in long sleeves during the day, but needed jackets at night as there were a few cold nights. Some days were so warm the boys were even able to play in the water at Pooh's Thoughtful Spot! Just make sure you don't plan a trip the weekend of President's Day---I've heard it's very crowded then.

We went in Feb of this year. Turns out, we were there on the coldest day of the year! We were freezing our tushies off LOL! Seriously, we were in Sea World on the coldest day....we had on like two layers of clothes, mittens, winter hats.....our toddler was bundled up in the stroller with a blanket. It was fun, but sort of miserable too.

We are going the week of 2/11 - 2/17 of next year. The last day is Saturday of President's Weekend. Are we going to be in the crowded times?????????

I haven't actually been there President's Day Weekend, but I've heard from a number of people, and I think it was also in the Unofficial Guide, that it's a busy weekend. If it were me, and I could easily change to the week before, then I would do so just to be safe...I hate crowds.

Hopefully, someone who has gone that weekend can tell you more about what crowd levels to expect. (I gave someone my Unofficial Guide to WDW 2006, so I can't look it up for you---sorry).

It will get very crowded on Friday and Saturday, the 16th and 17th. The rest of the week should be pretty manageable.
