Heading to WDW soon. Made all my dinning reservations 180 days out. I'm having second thoughts on our last dinner. We will be at the MK all day and currently have ADR for Crystal Palace for dinner.
We are also eating BF at Crystal Palace earlier in the week.
I've been checking for Chef Mickeys for dinner but only ADR is for very late at night.
I've been checking out the menu and reviews for The Wave and it looks great.
Just wanted to get your opinions.

Thanks.

It is SO good. We love it and are so happy to have discovered it. Great food. Great service. Quiet atmosphere.

We really enjoyed The Wave. Some of the better food we had at Disney. Keep in mind that the atmosphere is nothing special. We did NOT like Crystal Palace (breakfast) and won't go back there, so would def choose The Wave.

We ate at the Wave one evening after Epcot on our recent stay and had our best meal of the week. The service was great and the food was excellent. It was also the quietest restaurant we ate at all week. Plus we caught the MK fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck.

My sister and her family ate there a few weeks ago, and they LOVED it. She has a gluten allergy and her family normally eats very fresh and whole foods, and they felt that it checked all the boxes for them and that the food was wonderful. They have pretty high standards, so I think it's definitely worth trying out for tasty food. I'm a little bummed we can't fit it in to our trip in a few weeks.

After many trips to "the world" we finally gave it a shot this December. We really liked it and will be back...MUCH better than CP or CM by leaps and bounds. We liked the relaxed atmosphere and food was very good.

NOTE1: On the check-in level of Contemporary, past Front Desk, then left. The dining entrées are a bit overpriced; service can be spotty, but food quality was well above average. One problem is food doesn't always come out as ordered, or hot. The restaurant is a quiet place to eat as it doesn't seem to draw the loud kids or uncouth adults until much later into the dining hours. To us, it is a better than OK place to eat dinner, but nothing that rates a HUGE rave. The menu has American-type dishes versus something abstract or exotic. We thought the Pork Chop and locally-sourced Pork Tenderloin were very good, but were displeased with Oven Roasted Chicken and Beef Tenderloin. Trio Desserts, with three samples on same plate, are pretty tasty and recommended. The good side is that the bar/lounge is comforting-inviting-welcoming; a nice place to throw a few (or more) back. The eatery doesn't exude "Disney", but atmosphere is pleasant.

NOTE2: Above-average for dinner, but the breakfast buffet is one of WDW's best kept secrets for both price and quality, the other breakfast deal being Trails End in Fort Wilderness.

Wave was the best food (we went for dinner) I have had at Disney in years (and I have been to places like Cali Grill. I put the Wave over it in terms of food quality). I would DEFINITELY go.

The wave is a hidden gem. Im glad to have discovered it. Amazing food and service! I personally liked the food better at the wave than at cali grill....that's just my experience. It really is quite good!

We all have different taste...but to me, the atmosphere was quite nice. I really liked the decor! I also love the close proximity to MK.

Since youre doing CP breakfast already, i'd ditch dinner and eat at the wave instead. I'd also pass on Chef Mickeys. I didnt like the food....and for the price you pay, not worth it.

Love the Wave. Really good food for dinner, with a good range of choices so everybody should be happy.

We also enjoy the Wave for breakfast. Their buffet is really good and all the hot foods are regularly replaced.

Another Thumbs up from me! Filet so tender it can be cut with a butter knife.

Here's another vote for the Wave. We've eaten there several times, with ressies and without. Great food, casually upscale, and convenient. It's an underrated gem! Enjoy.

Another affirmative on The Wave and doubly so when compared to Crystal Palace of Chef Mickeys. We tried dinner (had previously had their yummy breakfast) on our last trip and were pleasantly surprised. It's definitely not a signature, but they had creative food that was well executed and certainly better than a buffet.

We tried it over Thanksgiving week for dinner since we were staying at the Contemporary and it gets rave reviews. We enjoyed it, but we didn't find it as spectacular as others made it out to be. The atmosphere is nothing special and the food was good, but nothing that made me want to return. I wouldn't make a special trip just for the Wave, but I would certainly pick it over any buffet for dinner. We only do buffets for breakfast (with Boma and Tusker House being exceptions!).
