How's the Walk?

I know that BLT is about a 7 min walk to the MK (depending if you get stopped at the traffic light). How far is the walking distance (time or distance) from other DVC resorts to the themeparks that they are close by?

I can't say about the walking times from BCV, but I agree with 10 minutes from BWV to Epcot. In my experience, walking to DHS from BWV only takes around 15 minutes, not 25-35.

Agree. I would say 15-20 from BWV to DHS and 10-15 from BWV to Epcot.

Really depends where your room is located. It can take 5 minutes just to navigate the halls of BWV if your room is at the furthest point from destination.

Those maps are awesome! I am so glad we got a BCV studio for Oct 11-13 so we can really enjoy the food and wine festival and just walk in and walk out when we are done! Take a nap from our food coma!!

realistically, if you're in the furthest villas at the BCV, it will take at least 10 minutes to get to WS also.

we love the strolls to both EPCOT & DHS

I timed from BC to DHS last January - and if added a few more minutes from BCV then for us it's a 20 minutes walk - not 35 minutes and we'd be stopping a lot to push it to 45 minutes. It's a little over a mile to 1 1/4 miles dependant on where your room is located.

I tend to start my walk timing once I get out on the sidewalks....wherever I'm staying. At BWV, it's taken me about 8 mins to get to the IG. To DHS, it's about 15-18 mins, depending on my pace. I've actually made it from the IG to DHS in 20 mins, but I was really cranking...needed to get to DHS before they closed, but really wanted to see the IllumiNations Christmas show first!!!!
I always cut through the pool area when heading to DHS.
From BCV to Epcot it's about 5 mins. To DHS, it's about 23...again, depending on pace.
It takes me under 10 mins to get to MK from BLT...usually about 8 mins.
