Hows the Ramada Maingate?

Is is close to the Park entrance?
The pool looks very nice, is it?
Are the rooms good sized, clean?
Service?
Continental breakfast?

We have friends who stay there once or twice a month when they come into town.
They like it a lot and I have never heard a complaint from them about it.

We just stayed there the first weekend in June. I have no complaints! Distance was the best factor. It's very close to the entrance - great for walking back at the end of a long day, or for taking those mid-day breaks. To give you an idea where it is - you can see Tower of Terror right across from the hotel. We never used the pool, so I can't comment on that. The continental breakfast was very basic - juice, coffee, fruit, muffins (chocolate ones were yummy!), toast and english muffins. Breakfast wasn't too exciting, but it was enough to get us going. The rooms were clean, front desk staff was nice. I was a little reluctant because I had read little about in on this board, but I was very pleased with the Ramada. In fact, I was going to stay there again when I go back in November, but then I got a great package deal with American Airlines to stay at the Best Western Park Place, which is an even better hotel. Otherwise, don't hesitate to stay at the Ramada Maingate.

We stayed there over Memorial Day weekend and it was fine.
Pretty basic, but clean and the staff was nice. Pool looked good, but didn't use it as we were at DL 12 or more hours each day.
Breakfast as noted above was simple, nothing elaborate, but was enough for us as we were in a hurry to get to the parks anyway.
It's an older hotel, but served our needs well.
One thing is the parking lot gets full, but luckily for us, once we parked on our arrival night, we didn't have to move our car again for three days.
