How's the first week of May???

We were planning a trip for the last 2 weeks for August...we have decided to change our trip to the first week of May. How are the crowds? Weather? Has any one gotten a good/great AP rate for that time?

I went last May. The weather was high 80's. We didn't have any rain. I thought the crowds were kind of big. It was our first trip. I was told by more than one CM that the crowds were not bad at all. they said the crowds were moderate. We had a great vacation.

Were going back this May (2005). I'm wondering how the crowds will be then. I guess there is a big disney 50th going on @ DL but all the parks will celebrate.

We were there the first few days of May this year and the crowds seemed fine to me. With FastPasses, we never waited more than 10 minutes for any of the popular rides (often only about 5 minutes). The weather was upper 80's and humid, which many CM's said was unusual (not the temp. but the humidity, as it's supposedly drier at that time of year).
