How's the bus service at CSR?

Hey all,
Just made my ressies for our 2006 trip in January . It has to be a shorter trip since were also doing an extended family vacation in 2006. Anyway, I picked CSR. We've stayed at CBR twice (loved it), this past february we stayed at POFQ (really loved it), so I thought a change would be fun.

Here's my question. How is the bus service to CSR? POFQ had excellent service since its so small. Should I be ready for a longer wait since CSR is huge (buses filling up quickly, etc...).

I stayed at CSR a few years ago, and POR last year. I found the bus service at CSR to be better and less crowded most of the time. During the day a large percentage of the people staying at CSR are at meetings and not using the bus services to the parks. This leaves more room for us vacationers. It is a great resort, enjoy your stay.

We were there a couple of years ago and found the bus service to be great. We rarely waited more than a few minutes, there was a bus stop close to our room, and getting to AK, BB was really quick. 2 of our favs. I think I might would consider a preferred room location, though. Because, like you said, this place is huge. Being closer to the food and big pool would've been nice. We were poolside in the back. Nice and quiet, but in the back 40.

We've stayed at several WDW resorts & would put CSR's bus service at the top of the list!

That's good news. I reserved a water/pool view. Will this put me far from the bus stops?

In 2001 when we stayed there, the bus service was Excellent - some of the best we had ever experienced. We had a water view (unexpected & not requested) in Cabanas & were moments from the bus stop.

The service is great. The only crowded buses I ever experience is at the end of the night at parks or from DtD.
