It was my only choice when we are going on Sept. 10th. How's the food, and is the Fatasmic seating worth it? I got my ADR for 5pm which I thought was good. All input is much appreciated! :goodvibes

We loved our food there on our last trip and the service was the best we have ever had in WDW. But of course, you will get varying opinions on service/food when you ask this question on these boards about any restaurant in WDW. We were not on the dining plan, or on the Fantasmic package though. We got Salmon and the Cobb salad, with pumpkin cheesecake and creme brulee- all of it was delicious, I would have licked the plates if I wasn't so full...oh and I guess I would have to think about the whole good manners thing too ;)

I like the Brown Derby, I have eaten there more than once, and my food was very good each time. I did pay OOP last time so that I would not use 2TS credits. I hope you enjoy your meal :goodvibes

Thanks everyone! We're using 2TS credits because I really want to see Fatasmic, and from what I understand you have to wait forever if you don't have a dinner package. Fantasmic is one of my favorites at Disneyland and I know that it's different at WDW so for us it's worth 2TS. Sounds like the food is good so that's a big plus too! We have the free dining plan so we will splurge this time anyway.

Where is the seating for Fantasmic when using the dinner package? Are they good seats? If anyone has done the dinner package I'd love some insight on this. TIA! :goodvibes

Same here, I tried to get the other resturant with one table service and it was booked, and I called the first day I could for my vacation. I guess everyone book the Fatasmic meal to see the show.

The Brown Derby in my opinion is NOT worth two dining credits. However never been to the Royal Table but am going in Oct with granddaughter and its two dining credits. The things we do for our kids.

Yep, we're doing that one too...it's not like we go to WDW much, why not live it up while we are there?!?!? :thumbsup2
